View Inside Window – Fine Art Archival Print

$50

A view inside, two diners enjoying a meal. I was in Ashland, it was evening and when I saw the the color of the building and the window looking in, I wanted to get a picture. I have to confess, this image seems to have somewhat of a mystical presence. I took the picture in a fairly linear fashion (see the unedited version in the gallery lineup) and I made a mistake in Photoshop with a setting and accidentally selected perspective warp and it turned the window in a wonky fashion. Ordinarily, the undo button should have corrected this (I tried multiple times) but it didn’t work. I decided that I like the perspective change so I stuck with the mistake. I also decided early on to replace the tv screen inside the window (something I almost never do) because I thought it distracted from the main subject, the two diners. Suffice it to say, (see the other version in my blog post: A Look Inside Windows – Photographs), I decided the original unmodified version was best and that contrary to my initial concern it seems like it adds to the picture with the face looking back at the camera. A lot of meta for one image.
